Following a dramatic change in direction, Epsom & Ewell Borough Council has withdrawn its previous position and is now consulting on revised proposals that could result in more than 970 new homes being built across Downs Farm and Priest Hill. This represents one of the most serious threats our local countryside has faced.

• Download and complete the Response Form from EEBC Council’s website and email it to localplan@epsom-ewell.gov.uk by 15 June 2026. A sample response is available for you to adapt. Remember to fill in Part A with your details.

• A hearing with the Inspector will take place on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 9:30 AM. Please email bankssolutionsuk@gmail.com to attend in person and share your concerns directly.

• Separately, the developer Dandara will present plans for 600+ homes on 17th June 2026 from 3.30pm to 7.30pm at Nork Community Centre, 38 Nork Rise, Banstead, SM7 1JN. More details can be found here.
